So I just got back from my team meeting. We chatted, Mark (the trainer) told us his expectations and we got measured. Then I did my upper body workout by myself. So, I always knew that when I am doing situps I use my neck too much because it always is more sore than my stomache. Well, today I was doing rows on the Max Rack. It's essentially a bar (you can move it) and I'm hanging upside down (or almost horizontal) and pulling myself up. So I'm doing a set of 12 and on number 10, I get this awful pain above my neck and the base of my cranium. OUCH! I finish the rest of my workouts and avoid the Max Rack Rows and ask Mark about it. Essentially, I'm tweaking/stressing my neck when I do that. I'm meeting with him tomorrow morning for a training session so he'll try to fix it. Ugh. My head still hurts. I'm going to try some heat, advil and maybe see if Craig will rub it a little while watching the Superbowl.
My rice is warming up and I'm going to have my leftover "Very Lemony Chicken" that I made. It is sooooo good! I'm hoping to compile a bunch of recipes that are lower in calories and good for me through this thing. So far, Craig likes my Baked "Fried" Chicken that I made but he wasn't home for the Lemony Chicken recipe and doesn't eat left overs (unless it's pizza) so maybe I'll try it again.
6 days through (I'm counting today as through....haha) and just 84 days of my challenge to go. I'm also hoping that I get in my head some of these healthy habits as a change of life style!
